It all came in a rush. Google announced "Google Drive" a Cloud drive that will sync with your PC and give you 5 Gig of free storage. Then I noticed that Microsoft have upgraded their Sky Drive so it syncs nicely with a PC rather than go through all the Live Mesh paraphernalia.
So I installed both on the Dell today. Some issues with the Microsoft Sky Drive as I already had some stuff on the old one, including pictures from my old Live Spaces Blog that is now archived on Wordpress. I may have to relink to some of the pictures that have disappeared. It also seems it doesn't want to sync some of these old files to the PC.
It was important to start using the Sky Drive because as an old user I would get 25 Gig provided I claimed it quickly. Only 7 Gig for newbies.
Got the Sky Drive app for the iPad. Sweet. With all that space I have uploaded my Dellow Register Newsletter CD so I can access them from the iPad. Afterwards I found that as PDF's I could get them onto iBook on the iPad via iTunes so I have done that as well :-)
